Scallion Peel Mediated Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles and Their Applications as Nano fertilizer and Photocatalyst for Removal of Organic Pollutants from Wastewater

Nanotechnology and nanomaterials have gained much attention in recent years due to their remarkable features. Among nanoparticles, photocatalytic material, such as zinc oxide, shown tremendous applications each every field of science. In the present research, investigators synthesized oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) using Scallion’s peel extract. ZnONPs were both spherical rod-shaped, where size for particles was 40–100 nm more than 200 confirmed by microscopic techniques. The typical trademark bands at 400–800 cm?1 revealed infrared spectroscopy, which also showed carbonyl hydroxyl groups. hydrodynamic particle analyzer (PSA) shows a near about diameter. Furthermore, used assess potential micronutrient plant nano adsorbent removal antibiotics (ampicillin) methylene blue dye from simulated wastewater. antibiotic observed under UV light visible against contact time. comparison control seeds, seeds grown with better germination seedling. It could be concluded that acted an important nanosized source nutrition agricultural applications. Thus, effect has been proven nano-based nutrient purposes. remediation study found ampicillin efficient similar experimental parameters wastewater ZnONPs.
